Questions clinics ask about ITIG Clinic
Practical answers about how the product handles a Lebanese practice. If your question is not here, message us on WhatsApp and a person answers.
Everyday work
Can patient names and prescriptions be in Arabic?
Yes. Patient records keep names in Arabic and Latin script and find them in either. The whole interface runs in Arabic with a right-to-left layout, and prescriptions and receipts print in Arabic with a dedicated Arabic typeface, or in French or English.
I have years of patients on paper or in Excel. How do I move them in?
You import them from Excel, CSV, or a Google Contacts export with a template in your language. Every row is validated before it is written, duplicates are detected across Arabic and Latin spellings, and the clinic owner can undo a whole batch.
Does it stop double bookings?
Yes. The database itself refuses two appointments in the same slot, so two people cannot take the same time even at the same instant. A deliberate overbook is possible only if the clinic switches it on and gives a reason.
What happens when the power goes?
The schedule prints as a day sheet, and the application keeps the last screens readable on a phone or tablet when the connection drops. Writing new data needs a connection.
Is the platform built for my specialty?
There is a tooth chart in FDI notation for dentistry, before-and-after photos and lesion records for dermatology and aesthetics, growth percentiles and vaccination reminders for pediatrics (switched on per clinic), and session packages for multi-visit treatments.
Money
Does the billing understand fresh dollars and lira?
Invoices are issued in fresh US dollars with the lira rate you set recorded on each invoice, so old invoices never drift. Payments are recorded as they arrive, in dollars or lira, by cash, Whish, OMT, bank transfer, card, insurance, or a wire from abroad.
A patient’s family abroad pays for their care. Can the system handle that?
Yes. A patient record can carry the relative abroad who pays, and the clinic can send a public invoice link that shows its own payment details. ITIG Tech never receives or holds patient money.
Can it tell me what my clinic is owed?
Every invoice carries its balance. Running balances per patient, partial payments, write-offs, and WhatsApp payment reminders are a feature the clinic switches on when it wants them.
Which insurers can it generate claims for?
Claim document packs for NEXtCARE, GlobeMed, MEDNET, AROPE, AXA, Libano-Suisse, Bankers, SNA, and the NSSF, with the patient’s NSSF number carried onto the NSSF form. NEXtCARE, GlobeMed, and the NSSF have insurer-specific layouts, the others a standard outpatient layout. Available on the Clinic tier and above. Sending the claim to the insurer stays with your staff.
How do I pay for ITIG Clinic?
Monthly, in fresh US dollars, by Whish, OMT, or card. Your price is locked when you subscribe.
Is there a free trial?
No. There is a live demo with sample data you can open now without signing up, and we walk you through your own setup on WhatsApp before you decide.
WhatsApp and AutoGreet AI
Does it send appointment reminders on WhatsApp?
Yes. A reminder goes out 24 hours before each visit, on the clinic’s own WhatsApp Business number, only to patients with a recorded opt-in, only between 8 am and 8 pm clinic time by default, and STOP is honoured at once. WhatsApp messaging is switched on per clinic once the clinic’s number is connected.
Does AutoGreet AI give medical advice?
No. A message that reads as medical, urgent, or an emergency never reaches the model. The patient gets a holding text with the Lebanese Red Cross number and the conversation goes to a person at the clinic. This cannot be switched off.
Does AutoGreet AI book appointments?
By default it notes the request and tells the patient the clinic will confirm, and it never invents a time. A clinic that has attested that its ITIG Clinic calendar is the source of truth can let it book from the live calendar.
Which WhatsApp number does AutoGreet AI use?
The clinic’s own WhatsApp Business number, connected through Meta’s official onboarding on the WhatsApp Cloud API. Meta’s review of a newly connected number takes one to three weeks.
Can I do video consultations?
Yes. The platform creates a video room on Jitsi Meet for an appointment and sends the join link to the patient on WhatsApp, with the same consent and hours rules as every other message.
Access, data, and security
Who in my clinic can open a patient’s chart?
By default, in a clinic with several doctors, only the treating doctor. Receptionists see demographics, scheduling, and billing and no clinical fields unless the owner widens it. A doctor can open another doctor’s patient in an emergency for 12 hours, and every such access is written to the audit trail.
Does my staff need a second login step?
Two-factor login with an authenticator app is optional and available to clinic owners and admins. Repeated failed sign-ins are throttled per address and per email.
My clinic has more than one location. Does that work?
Yes. From the Duo tier up a clinic can run several branches, with branch-aware working hours, absences, and scheduling, and one patient record across all of them. The Network tier covers multi-location groups.
Where is my data hosted?
On Microsoft Azure in the UAE North region, with backups replicated to UAE Central. Patient documents are in S3-compatible object storage at OVH Cloud, in its EU-WEST region, in France. The text of patient WhatsApp messages handled by AutoGreet AI is sent to Anthropic in the United States to draft replies, under a data processing agreement, with no training on the data.
How do I get my data out if I leave?
The clinic owner can export the whole clinic as spreadsheets at any time, and any patient’s file as a PDF. On a written request we delete or hand over the clinic’s data as described in the privacy policy.
Can I buy AutoGreet AI, SmartPage, or ITIG Rx without the platform?
Yes. Each has a standalone monthly price by number of doctors, and each costs less as an add-on to ITIG Clinic.
How does onboarding work?
It starts on WhatsApp. We set your clinic up with you, import your patients, and set the interface language for each user, in Arabic, French, or English.
